spectral analyser with real-time imaging capability
The BD FACSDiscoverTM A8 analytical flow cytometer provides state-of-the art full spectrum cytometry with 5 spatially separated laser lines and 78 fluorescent detectors. It also has an imaging component with three fluorescent detectors capable of providing image for every cell measured. Thanks to BD CellViewTM image techology new parameters are added to flow cytometry analysis like Diffusivity, Max Intensity, Radial Moment and other automatically generated parameters along with scatter and fluorescent images.
Dual-mode fluidics gives you the flexibility to get sample acquisition rates at 35,000 events/sec in high-speed mode and 12,500 events/sec in imagin mode.
Furthermore, A8 has fully integrated autoloader for sample acquisition from plates and tube racks.

BD LSRFortessa
BD LSRFortessa analyser is equipped with 4 lasers ( 405, 488, 561 and 640 ) allowing for up to 16 colors ( 18 parameters ) analysis.
A true fixed-alignment flow cell that is gel-coupled to the collection optics maximizes detector signals.
Digital acquisition rates of up to 20,000 events/second are possible.
The special Cytometer Setup and Tracking feature (CS&T) of the BD FACSDiva software establishes the baseline settings and adjusts for instrument variability.
To improve experimental efficiency, the High Throughput Sampler (HTS) connected to BD Fortessa allows sample loading from 96- and 384-well plates.
